WILDWOOD, N.J. - Five people be honored by the Citizens/Veterans Advisory Committee (CVAC) at its 9th Annual Recognition Luncheon on Thursday, October 22, at Duffinetti’s Restaurant, 4600 Pacific Avenue in Wildwood. The honorees will receive CVAC Valor Awards for service that strengthens the organization’s mission and creates a brighter future for local veterans in need.
The luncheon will unite supporters, volunteers, businesses and community leaders to celebrate service—and raise essential funds as requests for assistance continue to grow. Since its grassroots beginning in 2013, CVAC has helped more than 300 veterans and their families and distributed $275,000 in assistance.
CVAC’s unique membership enables virtually 100% of funds raised to be distributed directly to clients, turning community generosity into meaningful help for veterans and families throughout Cape May County.
Tickets are $50 each, with a variety of sponsorship levels available. Community members and local businesses are encouraged to reserve their seats, become sponsors and help CVAC answer the next call for assistance.
