CAPE MAY, NJ – As America marks its 250th anniversary, Cape May is celebrating its own anniversaries: 175 years as a city and 50 years as a national historic landmark. The 2026 Cape May Summer Concert Series, which begins on Sunday, June 28, presents a diverse lineup of performances perfect for celebrating these milestones. The concerts will be held at Cape May Convention Hall, 714 Beach Avenue in Cape May, New Jersey, and all shows begin at 8 pm.
“America250, combined with the anniversaries of Cape May’s incorporation and historic landmark designation, offer a truly unique opportunity to celebrate together,” said Zachary Mullock, Mayor of the City of Cape May. “The fantastic lineup of musical legends in the 2026 Summer Concert Series gives music lovers a chance to enjoy classic hits while enjoying these special historic moments.”
On Sunday, June 28, Mac McAnally kicks off the Summer Concert Series. A member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame, and Alabama Music Hall of Fame, McAnally has been named the Country Music Association’s Musician of the Year a record ten times. On Sunday, July 12, The Stylistics bring the classic sounds of Philadelphia soul to the Jersey Shore. Known for such chart-toppers as “You Make Me Feel Brand New,” “Betcha By Golly Wow,” and “You Are Everything,” The Stylistics have earned a Grammy nomination, as well as numerous gold and platinum albums and singles, and an induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. On Sunday, July 26, Joan Osborne presents Relish Live, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the landmark album that transcended genres, blending folk, pop, and rock with deeply personal storytelling. Osborne’s debut single, “One of Us,” reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 and earned three of Osborne’s eight Grammy nominations. Tickets are $61.10 and $72.09.
On Sunday, August 2, The Spinners bring their smooth harmonies and memorable melodies to Cape May Convention Hall. This legendary group has topped both pop and rhythm and blues charts with hits such as “Working My Way Back to You,” “I’ll Be Around,” “They Just Can’t Stop It (Games People Play),” and “Rubberband Man.” Tickets are $84.13.
On Friday, August 7, A.J. Croce presents Croce Plays Croce, a special night of music featuring a complete set of classics by his late father, Jim Croce, some of his own tunes, and songs that influenced both him and his father. This special event features such timeless songs as “Operator,” “You Don’t Mess Around with Jim,” and “Time in a Bottle,” a song written for A.J. Tickets are $84.13.
On Sunday, August 9, The Legendary Wailers bring their unique reggae sound to Cape May. The group is fronted by Julian Junior Marvin, who joined Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1977, performed as lead guitarist and musical contributor on all subsequent Bob Marley & the Wailers albums, and toured worldwide with the Wailers until Bob Marley’s passing in 1981. The group will perform hits such as “One Love,” “Get Up, Stand Up,” “I Shot the Sheriff,” “Buffalo Soldier,” and “Is This Love.” Tickets are $65.00.
On Sunday, August 23, Blue Oyster Cult closes the Summer Concert Series. One of very few hard rock/heavy metal bands to earn both mainstream critical acclaim as well as commercial success, Blue Oyster Cult is best known for classic hits such as “Don’t Fear (The Reaper),” “Godzilla,” and “Burnin’ for You.” The group has sold 25 million records worldwide, influenced other bands, such as Metallica, and earned a spot on VH1's countdown of the greatest hard rock bands of all time. Tickets are $75.00.
