The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce has announced a modest adjustment to its base membership dues, effective with July 2026 renewals. The annual base rate will increase from $405 to $450, marking the first dues increase implemented by the organization in several years.
This decision comes in response to rising operational costs and reflects the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality programs, events, advocacy, and services to its members. Chamber leadership emphasized that the adjustment was carefully considered to ensure continued value while maintaining strong support for the local business community.
Over the past year, the Chamber has expanded its impact through key initiatives aimed at strengthening the regional economy. These efforts include workforce development programming, increased legislative advocacy on issues such as occupancy tax and infrastructure, and enhanced member engagement opportunities through initiatives like Leadership Cape May County and the Business at the Beach Expo.
The updated dues structure will apply at each member’s next renewal cycle, with invoices distributed in advance to allow businesses adequate time for planning and budgeting.
Representing more than 900 businesses across Cape May County and beyond, the Chamber continues to serve as a unified voice for the local business community. Leadership noted that member participation remains essential to advancing initiatives that support economic growth and long-term regional success.
The Chamber remains committed to transparency and encourages any members with questions or concerns regarding the dues adjustment to reach out directly to discuss available options.
