The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce’s February 19, 2026 Membership Meeting welcomed one of the largest crowds ever at a luncheon to ICONA Avalon for an engaging and inspiring program featuring New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale Caldwell. During his address, Dr. Caldwell reflected on New Jersey’s economic momentum, rich cultural landscape, and shared sense of pride and acknowledging Cape May County’s meaningful role in advancing those statewide priorities.

Attendees also received remarks from Assemblywoman Victoria A. Flynn of Legislative District 13, who spoke to the resilience and impact of New Jersey’s tourism, gaming, and arts sectors, noting their critical importance to job creation, entrepreneurship, and the overall vitality of communities throughout the state. The opportunity to hear directly from state leadership reinforced the importance of collaboration and ensured Cape May County’s voice continues to be represented at the state level.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous sponsors: The Mullock Family & Christopher Gillin Schwartz, South Jersey Gas, and the Cape May County Democratic Party for their support in making this event possible. We also wish to recognize the dedication and hospitality of The Mita Family and the ICONA Avalon team for ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.

Most importantly, thank you to our Chamber members and guests for joining us for this meaningful and impactful event. Your engagement continues to strengthen our business community and our county as a whole!
