Each winter, when Code Blue conditions are declared, The Branches extends our Outreach Center hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. so people have a warm, safe place to be during the day. We’ve already experienced over 30 Code Blue days, added additional seating throughout our space, and still had days with standing room only as individuals come in for warmth, coffee, showers, and a place where they are welcomed inside.
