WOODBINE, NJ - Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg was filming scenes for his new UFO-themed movie, reportedly titled The Dish, in Woodbine, from March 10-14, bringing excitement and economic benefits to the small town. Local businesses are already seeing an increase in activity, while Woodbine officials hope Spielberg's presence will further highlight the town’s unique history and charm.
Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky gave a key to the city to Spielberg during the visit.
The Mayor shared that he has served the Borough of Woodbine for 35 years and is one of only four "Senior Mayors of NJ." He also mentioned extending an invitation to Mr. Spielberg to revisit the Sam Azeez Museum.
