CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ— The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce installed
Amy Mahon, Director of Operations and Marketing at Reich Asset Management as the 45th individual to serve as Chairperson of the Board of Directors since the Chamber re-organized as the Cape May County Chamber 77 years ago in 1944 after being founded in 1916 as the Seashore Association Chamber of Commerce. Cape May County Clerk Rita Rothberg served as Installing Officer delivering the oath of office to Mahon at the Flander’s Hotel in Ocean City on October 19th along with newly elected Officers and Directors.
Ron Sulpizi from Sturdy Savings Bank will serve as First Vice Chairman; Jim Ridgway with the J. Byrne Agency remains as Second Vice Chairman; Nancy Cleaver with Crest Savings Bank holds the office as Secretary while Eli Massood, CPA joins the officers as Treasurer. Adding to the Executive Committee as Directors – At – Large are Tom Hutchinson with Hutchinson Heating Cooling Energy Services, Denise Wieand from Allegra Marketing, Print and Mail; and Kenna Wuerker from Hawk Haven Vineyards and Winery.
New Directors installed included Debbie Gioquindo owner of TRIO North Wildwood; Wayne Reichle, Vice President of Lund’s Fisheries; and Michael McMahon, Claims Manager with the McMahon Insurance Agency. Re-elected Directors included Maria Kellett, Atlantic Cape Community College; Alicia Pearson, Kindle Auto Plaza; Tracey Martin, Cape Resorts; Stephanie Thomas, Sunshine Dentistry; and Sydney Patrick, TD Bank.
“As a lifelong resident of Cape May County, I am proud and honored to serve as Chairwoman of the Board of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is a tireless supporter, cheerleader, and advocate for the business community, residents, and our visitors. I look forward to serving in this role over the next two years,” said Mahon as she accepted the position.
