Published Friday, September 4, 2020

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ – The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce virtual monthly business meeting will be held Thursday, September 17 on Zoom featuring Cape May County Freeholder Will Morey and County Engineer Bob Church, who will provide an update on the recently adopted comprehensive bridge plan for the county.

This fifteen-year plan calls for the replacement of or improvements to 23 County-county owned bridges and was approved at the August 25 meeting held by the Cape May County Freeholders.

“The Chamber is excited to hear more about this critically important infrastructure project for Cape May County,” according to Vicki Clark, President of the Cape May County Chamber.  “Our bridges and roads are aging and need attention.  They are vital links to the economy of Cape May County, especially the barrier islands and our tourism driven economy.”

This virtual meeting is sponsored by South Jersey and is free to attend but pre-registration is required.  Visit www.CapeMayCountyChamber.com/events to register.
