County Chamber to Host Speakers to Discuss On-The-Job Training Wage Reimbursement, Restoration of Coast Guard 36538 Motor Lifeboat

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ – The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce monthly business meeting will be held on February 21 at Rio Station beginning at 8:30 am. The speakers at this meeting will provide a range of topics from On-the-Job Training employee wage reimbursement programs to the restoration project of Coast Guard 36538 Motor Lifeboat.

Raymond Heslip, Jr. from the Cape May County Division of Workforce Development will discuss the On-the-Job, or OJT, program in which employee wages can be reimbursed when the employer agrees to custom-train a new or incumbent employee for a skilled job. Following that discussion, Ed Melega from will give an update on Coast Guard 36538 Motor Lifeboat restoration project.
