The Impact of Our Scholarships:
"Thank you for helping my dreams come true! I am so grateful and honored to accept the 2025 CMC Chamber Education Foundation Scholarship! I will be majoring in sports management, strategic communications and international public relations. You are investing in a future woman in the sports-business industry and I cannot wait to make you proud. The funding will majorly help the financing of my college education. Thank you again!" - Taryn D., Ocean City High School
"I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for awarding me the scholarship from the Cape May County Chamber Education Foundation. Receiving this scholarship has truly made a meaningful impact on my educational journey. It has not only eased some of the financial burden of continuing my studies, but it has also given me added motivation to work hard and pursue my goals with confidence. This generous support has reminded me that there are people and organizations who believe in students like me, and for that, I am incredibly thankful. It is an honor to be selected, and I am committed to making the most of this opportunity. Thank you again for your support and encouragement as I enter this next phase of my academic career." - Amanda D., Cape May County Technical High School
"I cannot thank you enough for the generous scholarship Cape May County Chamber Education Foundation provided to me. I was incredibly happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected as a recipient of your scholarship. It is organizations like yours that make it possible for students like me to attain an education they want and deserve. I understand not everyone’s path leads them to college, but for me this has always been my goal. By the time I graduate I hope to have a true understanding of what it means to be a physicist, be able to communicate ideas, oral, written, and visual forms. Use what I have learned to solve and present solutions. This is just a small example of what I should be able to learn in the classroom. It would be naïve for me to believe the classroom is the only place I will learn, prosper, and become a productive member of society. College is a steppingstone for young adults. This is where my independence will grow, I will have full responsibility of my schedule, my health, social activities, and finances. I will learn to live in an unfamiliar environment, able to explore new areas, find a new community to volunteer in and be forced to step out of my comfort zone. Living on campus will provide me with many opportunities to get fully involved in university life and meet new people. I will also be a college athlete which will help teach me to budget time, make a commitment to others and work hard to achieve personal and team goals. I believe these characteristics will all help me in my future. Unfortunately, colleges today come with a hefty price tag. While I have worked hard in the classroom to maximize the amount of merit I would be granted from colleges, I have maxed out the merit that the institution of my choosing is allowed to allocate per student. Without scholarships like this my ability to attend a prestigious institution would be in jeopardy. Your scholarship means I am one step closer to achieving my goals. Thank you for taking your time and resources to help young adults today, which will help lead us all to a better tomorrow. I am honored you have chosen me to receive this generous scholarship. I make a commitment to you, as well as myself, to continue to place a high value on my academics. Thank you again for your generosity, much appreciated." - Micah M., Middle Township High School

“Receiving this scholarship gives me comfort knowing that my dream of becoming a pilot is just that much closer to becoming a reality. Trying to figure out a way to pay for the expenses of college and flight training has been pretty stressful; however, this scholarship has taken a great deal of weight off my shoulders. As a direct result, this relief will allow me to focus a little more on flying and, in turn, make me a proficient and safe pilot for the years to come. With that being said, thank you, Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, for all that you do for the community and for having selected me as a scholarship recipient.” – Ryan W., St. Augustine Preparatory High School
“Thank you so much for your generous scholarship of $1,000. This will provide me with great aid to pursue my education at Sacred Heart University in the fall. I will be in a 3+3 accelerated exercise science/doctor of physical therapy program, through which I will be able to give back to my community and pass on the kindness that has been granted to me. Thank you again.” - Kristiana B., Ocean City High School
