The Jersey Shore BeachNBoat Fishing Tournament is a New Jersey statewide, season-long, inshore, saltwater, multi-species fishing tournament that challenges anglers of all skill levels to compete for cash and prizes.

From Raritan Bay to Delaware Bay, anglers can sign-up for $20 and fish for 8 species, from the shore or from a boat, once or every day for the entire season, which runs April 1 through November 30.

More than $30,000 in prizes will be awarded for the largest catches.

Proceeds go to the Fisheries Conservation Trust and the tournament is supported in part by a grant from the New Jersey Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism.

Visit and check out the leaderboard.
The most recent entry (pictured to the right) was from Peter Wolfinger who caught a 6.1 LB Fluke.

Capt. Franz did it again this week. On July 13, he took three generations of the Greenlee family on their first offshore Tuna/Marlin trip out to Massey's Canyon.

The Greenlee's are from Texas and typically fish saltwater inshore species: Trout and Redfish.

But this time, the Grandfather, the Father and the Son all shared in the thrill of catching Bluefin Tuna, Yellow fin Tuna and two Mahi-Mahi Dolphin (pictured right).  These fish will be consumed shortly, but the memories will last forever.
Catch the fever !! Charter a boat from South Jersey Marina in Cape May, NJ while the fishing is hot.
